Sometime before Christmas my mother made a comment about the box in the dinning room. Through simple clues, mostly Ben's stupidity, I could tell it was a unicycle for me. So, on Christmas I got a unicycle to ride.

Now, the weather was good at this point, so Ben and I went out to try and ride it. Ben went first and found a painful secret, it can hurt a lot. I found it not to be too bad, but harder than any thing I have done before.

I kept on practicing though and have so far gotten almost nowhere. I learned a little bit about it, but not much. At one point I got Josh trying it, Although he was bad, he too kept trying. So, when the weather gets better, Josh and I stall do are best to learn to ride a unicycle.

So I only started running recently. My dad was my inspiration for entering races. I figured that I could do it if he could, being 27 years older than I am. So I signed up for the 8K race last year and my Dad and Dave as well as some other co-workers ran in the 10 mile race.

It was cool to go back to downtown Flint since I went to college there and to see so many people there. My Dad and I walked through the hotel where they were selling running accessories. It's amazing the things that they sell runners like nipple guards and energy jelly beans. I ate a nice pancake breakfast in the outdoor theatre and met up with Olaf and Dave, I think.

We waited in a long line for the bathroom at one point in the university pavillion and I think I remember some guy being weird in line. Dave, do you remember this?

I remember I went to this open house party in Year 11...it was totally huge, EVERYONE who is ANYONE was there (including this guy i had a huggge crush on - Liam)

I had been busy all day, I'd bought this new dress I was going to wear that night, and I just had enough time to get home, get dressed and make my way there

I took the train there (which took about half an hour) then finally got there and went in to look for my friends...I remember getting these kind of look-at-my-dress-then-look-at-me weird looks from people, but I ignored them...my friends hadnt turned up so I went to get drinks

I remember it perfectly. I had my drink, and was sitting at this mini bar they had set up there, talking to this guy, when I looked down at my dress and realised it was INSIDE OUT, with the HUGE price tag still hanging out and everything..! I was so embarrassed, and it was SO obvious the dress was on wrong because of the style of the dress...omgosh...oh well...i look back and laugh now :)
