In middle school I was always into blowing stuff up with Fireworks on the 4th of july.

I would usually go in my front yard and find old toys to stick bottle rockets in or various things around the house. I also would light them off insde of the drainage systems as well because it made loud noises.

One time, I attempted to light off about 25 saturn rockets, when a cop pulls up. I dont think they went off, or we probably would have gotten into trouble.

Anyway, the story I am meaning to post is in regard to an occasion where we were at Noel's House
and he decided to bring this huge box of toys out into the road (which was a dead end at the time and he was the last house) and he somehow got his hands on some gasoline! He basically poured it on the toys and we never had played with gasoline before. And anyone who is in middle school reading this, please never play with gasoline!!! So we light it off like retards and it goes into a blaze from hell. We all were . . . Read More..

In 2004 my friend Jason from Cross Country decided he wanted to teach
in Thailand for a year.  So all of our XC buddies got together and gave
him a little going away party at Dave and Busters in Utica.  It was a
world of fun that night.  Just a standard night on the town.  But I am
sure he appreciated the great time too.

He ended up going out there and will never come back for he fell in
love with a local beauty out there and they are now married in
Thailand.  Enjoy the weather buddy!

When I got back from Europe I was so tired and out of it and I went for some apple sauce in the fridge.

I was explaining to Susan what I was wanting to eat and I said I want some mashed apples. Here's what I said... "I want some of those apples, what do you call them.??? Those mashed apples."

She laughed so much at it and I will never be able to eat them again with out hearing about the mashed apples.

The other day Susan and I had to meet with the Deacon where we are getting married and afterward we went to the Coffee Beanery in Plymouth.

There we met a man, Dong Jun, who was the owner of the establishment. He made Susan a nice coffee and me a really good drink as well.

When he was helping the other people before us, both of us knew that this guy was pretty much the nicest, most genuine and sincere person we have met in a while.

He just had this aura to him. This vibe. He had the biggest smile on his face as well.

After he gave us our drinks, we sat down, but I was itching to randomly go up to him and strike up a conversation.

Dong Jun, is an old Korean guy maybe in his late 50's and we mostly had small talk about lots of things, but it was just so pleasant. He was very wise.

I cant wait to visit him again with Susan. We both new instantaneously that this man has greatness flowing in his blood. It was really weird.

For my last Spring Break ever (Senior Year at Oakland University) I was going to go to Florida for Spring Break, but my friend cancelled on me. So as a second effort to have a good time on my break I decided to buy tickets through a school trip to NYC! Tickets were super cheap (170 bucks for 4 days). The only person I knew was Andy Baker, but after those 4 days were over I made a ton
more friends and had the greatest time I have had in such a long time!!

Here are the things I remember us doing....

When we first got there we immediately went to times Square where Andy lifted me up on his shoulders and we took pics and hung out.

I felt so gross from the long bus ride, but we couldnt yet check into the hotel.

I dont remember specifics about what we did on the first day after that, maybe we went to the comedy night that night with Adrian Bass and others, I am not sure.

In the morning for sure I know we made our way to the Metropolitan museum. It was one of the largest
