Our day started off early for our city tour of Buenos Aires Argentina. Getting on the bus, we had the most amazing tour guides who seemed to be really relaxed and less rushed than at Rio De Janiero.

Our first stop on this romantic day was the first cemetery in the city.

It was one of the most unique cemeteries I have ever seen and Evita was buried there. We took many photos of various sarcophagi and it was interesting because the caskets were in plain view in a few of them.

We had to wait in line to see Evita's family grave. But Evita herself was buried underground so that she may truly rest in peace.

There was a huge tree that I got a picture of outside of the graveyard and there were many professional dog walkers hanging out there with 4 to 7 dogs they were watching.

Next Susan and I went to the town center with the familiar pink government building of which the president helicopters into each day to work on time.

Right around the corner there was an amazing . . . Read More..

Original Memory Interview Question

What was your first memory?

His Response:

I remember the Ravine where when I was about 2-3 yrs old my Older siblings would play and I had to stay behind a gate, But when I finally got my chance... My parents were upset at the older sibs for not paying attention to me MORE and they were grounded for the next few days. I on the other hand, was taken to a safe park every day for the next week (it was their punishment) and they resented taking me there. Later that year we were to move to a new house and one of my sibs got an idea to run off to the ravine just as the moving truck was arriving and we spent a whole hour searching for Him until a neighbour suggested we look there
and sure enough...there he was playing on an old tire swing having a great time when all of a sudden my Dad snuck up on him and dragged him home by the ear. We all said goodbye to the old house but I was not comfortable with that so my DAD made a special arrangement for me to come back once again to the old neighborhood. . . . Read More..

Original Memory Interview Question

What types of family traditions did you experience at a very early age?

His Response:

We had a tradition of monthly family gatherings hosted at different relatives houses each month unless it was a month that also held a major holiday like Christmas or Easter and in that case it was usually held by my grandmother at her home. We were a very matriarchal family run by the female members of the family like my Grandmother, or an Aunt, or my Mother.

From (Early Life)
Original Memory Interview Question

What growing up "firsts" did your parents tell you about? Was there some kind of story surrounding your first time you walked or first time you said "mom" and "dad"?

His Response:

I was a large baby that is a L-O-N-G one 22 1/2 in. long at birth so when I did start to walk some people thought I was well passed the age that I should have been to start walking. My Mother had to explain to them that I was not really that old at the time and they were amazed at my size. As for speaking it was a day when we were to go to see Gran and my Mother was making ready my stroller for the trip when all of a sudden she heard this little voice say " walk off now" and she turned to see me smiling at her and there was nobody else in the room at the time. It seemed I had gotten the saying from my Dad since he had been in the Army and had also coached sports it was one of his favorite expressions to say "Walk it off now" whenever somebody complained of any injuries or discomfiture.
