There was a truck a friend was planning on purchasing from a coworker. This truck was not only longer than the typical truck, but was of an industrial nature with a verg powerful engine, and had a large flat surface in the back-- thusly accomodating piles of mulch, etc...

We took the truck out for a test-drive. Now, on this particular day, it had been raining very heavily, and was causing flooding on Lapeer (this was near Bald Mountain). We had spotted one rather large puddle in the middle of the road that had hidden even the entire median. Most people could make out where the median was supposed to be, though.

So, being the persons that he and I are, we decided to go barreling through the deepest parts of the large puddle that very few of the other vehicles even went near. We did this time and time again, until on about the fourth time through, we noticed that a car had misinterpreted the median, and had completely-missed the turn-around. She had instead, sunk the card in the middle (it was usually a large ditch, but had been hidden). She was still in the car, though, and on the phone. Surprisingly, the water was in the backseat and to the middle of the door, but she was still dry in the front-seat.

So, we figured.. Whatever. We pulled the truck around and parked on, what we perceived to be, the shoulder. I waded out to her car, and discuss with her the issue at hand :) .

I offered to carry her back to the road so that she would remain dry. She accepted.

So, she climbed through the window, and I waded with her over my shoulder up the hill, and back to dry ground.

We took off before the cops got there, and bulldozed the puddle a couple more times before returning.
