I woke up butt early today, because I have to... its MY LAST DAY! Plus I assumed that the pope would come out really early to come and hang out with me. When I woke up, I found out about daylight savings time and it was even better because I essentially gained that hour of sleep. I went on the net and had breakfast and found out that he would bless me at 10:30. Yes he only pays attention to me, because we are best friends.

Since I had all of that time, I decided to just wait for my Canadian friends (Lucy and Byron) to wake up. They are such an awesome couple. They have been married for over 5 years every single conversation we have is totally great. We go out to eat at really decent restaurants and really live it up. I am so glad I met them and we had such a great time while we were here. My last day in Europe and my trip for that matter... would of been the same without them. In 2006 newsie682 and my friend Kelly had a nice Christmas dinner with Luke and Kate , and Jillian and Allen and Susan and I over. I mostly wanted to upload the photos cause most of the night we just opened presents, chit chatted and relaxed at her house.

The one interesting thing I remember was the appletini's that someone made. I was drinking one of these as all the girls were opening presents and it totally went down the wrong tube. Because of all the sugar content in those things, I coughed horrendously for at least 10 or 15 minutes. I am glad I didnt die right there in the christmas presents.

Before we left for a standard Taylor family party (including Mike,Patsy,
Sheila and Barb who havent signed up for memorycrawler yet), my mom reminded me that we should give Mike his old 1968 jacket back. This jacket was given to us probably because he moved a lot over the years. The thing is fantastic. It is super skinny, brown leather and even has a spot to hide your marijuana (remember its a hippie jacket). Since we were giving it back I decided to go all out and dress up like a total desuche bag hippie.

Just look at the photos. The funny thing about that day was the fact that newsie682 randomly wore a cowgirl type outfit.

I think I resemble Scott Wylat from Stone temple Pilots in these photos. It was pretty funny. I totally had an alter ego when I was dressed up like that.

newsie682 and I went with a bunch of friends out to a cottage in Grand Bend Ontario some of her sorority friends (including Kelly) rented out. I think we went out on a Friday or something and came back on Sunday. We only stayed over a couple of nights, but we had so much fun out there.



The drive was super easy from the Detroit area and we found it easily. That night we all got drunk and chilled out. The next day we hit up the beach, but before that, we stopped by the liquor store and it started raining like hell out. I ended up getting a wine bottle cap too for 2 dollars. I think newsie682 bought it for me.



The beach was really nice. We played a lot of football in the water with the guys that were there and I went on a nice walk with newsie682 out to the pier. I dont remember much more of that time at the beach, mostly just relaxing and drinking. But what I do remember is my run that I did before dinner that night. My phone frickin rocks.  I have had it for 4 years and I love it to death.  We have been through a lot.  I have dropped it down a flight of stairs.  It had a crack in it for the longest time.

Its so famous in fact, that my buddy wrath called it a Zack Morris phone and it has stuck with it ever since.

One time at chimes, my boss John had a meeting with all of our team and we hosted the entire meeting on my speaker phone!  We had the frickin thing sitting on a table on speaker phone and all 5 of us talked to ozman213 about Chimes business.

Now adays, I have some stickers on it and my name enscribed on it.  Even tonight I was showing it off and my friend Mary didnt even know his name (the phone), and she said that it was the Zack Morris phone.
