This page is the central location to documenting your memories. The only required fields are the memory story and the title. But there is so much benefit to fill in everything else. Here is a description of each field and what its purpose is: - Memory Title :
- Summarize your memory by coming up with a creative name.
- Memory Location Name :
- An example would be Starbucks. Once you have created one location, you may select it from existing locations and when you post another memory from that location, it will auto populate the city and locale that the location resides in. Additionally a fountain pen icon will appear of which you can upload photos and descriptions inline without refreshing the page
- Category :
- Create your own or use system wide categories so that memories can be grouped by type. A memory involving is also a tag that is nice to classify the story.
- Season :
- We chose to not allow specific dates because most people only remember parts of the year.
- Memory Year :
- You can click the now checkbox if this memory occured this year as well as you can see we try to show you what year it was when you were in a particular grade
- Pick City :
- This section pops up a city lookup from any country or state in the world.
- Visibility :
- Public is readable by all people and web indexing services like google. Friends only will show up only to the friends you make and the private visibility is stored in encrypted form and only you can ever read it.
- New Bio
 and Pet  :- Once you fill out the form, the data for your bio is already stored in our memory database and it adds a special tag to your memory that will render the pop up when you post the memory. Underneath the story text box, you will have a button to add the bio poup again and again once you reference the person in the story.
- Add Bio, Pet and Location
 :- This will similarly add a unique code to your memory story that, upon posting, will render a pop up for more information on your particular data showing pictures and information about that special place or someone.
- Memory Story :
- This is where you will spend the most time. In firefox browsers, you will have a special HTML editing utility to add formatting, links, fonts, tables, colors and pictures right into the story. Other browsers have a more basic story creation.
- Next to the story you have an area where you can enter in names and emails of friends who were a part of the memory. Upon posting it, we will send a memory recollection request to the person with part of the story to them. We also give access to ONLY them to write a memory recollection. Once they sign up you will be notified and they will be added to your friends list. Thanks for inviting more people!
- Memory Styles :
- Add your style to the post by uploading your own skin (or background) as well as using solid colors for what the memory looks like.
- Import External :
- Login to your favorite email services to get your contacts to easily ask for a recollection. We must emphasize that we simply pass your credentials on to the services and do not store the data passed. Please see the privacy policy for more information
- Notify My Friends Check :
- Will send the memory as an email in addition to posting. People who have their settings set to recieve all emails will also get it in their inbox.
- Memory Media :
- Add photos from your hard drive, photos from Flickr, or videos from a video camera, phone or from your desktop. Upon adding them, a (View) link will show up where you can delete the ones you dont want.
- Names Found :
- We scan your memory for typical first names to remind you that other people were a part of the memory. So simply add an email and post it yo!
