In 5th grade our teacherMr. Kowalski asked everyone to create a new product and to market it on a commercial that we would star in. How ingenous was that??

My product was called "Crusty Crunchies Dog Snacks". I loved being creative and I had so much fun making this all by myself. I vividly remember the day we put all of this stuff together.

During the big day of the commercial shoot, I had Liz Grant go into a room and we came up with the commerical. It was baiscally a knock off of another commercial.

The rules for the shoot of the commercial is that you only get three takes. On my first take, the class laughed sooo hard and there was so much noise that I decided to try again. And yet again the class ruined it. The third time was a charm, but when I finished the commercial I turned my head and smiled, but totally missed the camera (SEE VIDEO)!! It was hilarious.

Atari is one of the greatest systems around.  Sure the graphics sucked, but the gameplay was one of the best.  Any of you new gamers who only play your XBox 360 definitely need to check this system out.  Get an emulator and download the 2 meg zip file of ROMS.

Many of my first memories occured while playing the Atari.  Sure nothing really happened but that was really significant, but kids just like having fun.

I remember playing with my neighbor Jason a bit.  I can even remember watching my mom play her favorite game, Mega Mania.  I also remember going over my uncle pauls and playing superman and spiderman in his basement.  In elementary school I remember going over to Chris Wade's house and playing Haunted House.  Riddle of the Sphinx is a game that my Dad used to play with us.  

I also remember shopping for them when the Atari was going out of style at KB Stores.

An almost terrible (but turned out terrifying) day trip

2004-10-16 | Kutna Hora, Czech Republic So.. I decided I wanted to take a day trip to Kutna Hora because I have had a lot of people tell me its cool. After some rude interactions with the unfriendly and unhelpful staff of the train stations, I was on my way. When I got there I had no information whatsoever and I was forced to suck info off the tourists that were there. I clinged onto some Ozzies with a Rough Guide and followed them to a huge gothic cathedral. I thought that this was the cathedral everyone raved about (this church made of real human bones). After my parents divorce, they got back together after about a year and were basically a little bit of a cute joke within the extended family cause they would always say "Oh yeah and bring the boyfriend."  So eventually my parents plan this huge trip out to Vegas to get remarried on what would have been their 25th anniversary had they stayed together.  We brought a ton of our family from both my Dad's side and my Mom's side and everyone who wanted to go was invited.  This is the one trip that I can honestly say that my parents went all out in.  I love family trips and hope to have a big one overseas someday.

I remember waking up butt early because my mom had to get to the airport 3 hours early before our flight.  I remember Dan and I playing a couple of classic old school games on his laptop in the airport.

At the regional meet my junior year was the only meet of the season that you can qualify for state finals and I was planning on making it with my 4x400 team.  We were very close to getting that time and place to make it, but something else happened that was far greater.  My 4x800 team pulled the fastest time ever at Mott and we broke the school record and made it to state finals!

The way we accomplished this was totally random.  All we set out to do was to stay behind the Walled Lake Western team the whole race and thats exactly what happened.  Our previous times werent even close to breaking the school record and we dropped our time that day by 20 seconds.
