One of the most fun group games I used to play while growing up in middle school was bomberman for the SNES. This was one of the few games out there that 4 people could simultaneously play together. You had to get a special adapter to play it and my brother and I would rent it at Video Gamer on the way to my cousins Noel and Kevins's house.

We were all the greatest Pals in the world and we would stay up all night playing this together. We would buy Jolt cola and get hyper from it.

On many occasions my Uncle Kirt would come in fuming from lack of sleep because we just could not contain the fun and excitement.

Many times when I was around that age I would envision all 4 of us living in a mansion together and playing video games. But somehow all of us chose women instead of each other. In theory that would have been a unique friendship of 4 cousins living together.

Today we woke up very early to catch the final flight to Beijing; about
5 AM. We were waiting a while after sitting down in our seats and I
took a little nap. I think I mostly relaxed on the plane and didn?t
really do a whole lot. I ended up cracking up at some of the
entertainment on the TV. There was a funny TV show showing people doing
quirky things similar to a Charly Chaplan silent film. It was shot in
high speed like the Chaplan films and it was hilarious seeing people?s
reactions.

We got into Beijing and we had a bit of a wait
because our bus wasn?t there, so out in the parking lot me and some
other people decided to do it like the locals and we whipped out the
Majongg set that I purchased the night before. We started playing on
the concrete and were stacking them, but then the bus rolled up. We had
some touring to do before we checked into the hotel and we drove to the

I really embarrassed myself when I called the veterinarian's office. When the receptionist answered the phone I said, "Do you have a good product for dogs to get rid of flicks and teas?" When I heard her laughing, I said "I'm sorry I meant teas and flicks." At least I gave her a good laugh along with my daughter Michele who heard me on the phone.

One time I was biking past Kim and Lorne Deacon's house.  Lorne was in front of the house and he waved "Hi".  I waved back at him and then fell off my bike.

I got some good scrapes and a hefty chunk of embarrasement.

Lorne Deacon, Todd Bauer and I went on a bike ride to Waterford.  We were right next to the old movie theatre where Motor City Guitar is now.  We were on our way back when Lorne decided to pass Todd and then come around and pass me.  While passing me, he knocked my handle bars and I came tumbling down.

This accident was a bit more gory than "Noel's bike accident Part 1".  I also did a good deal of swearing.  My dad drove up to get me in the Suburban.  Lorne felt really bad about it.  I just think it is funny that Lorne was involved in both of my bike accidents.
