In 2004 my friend Jason from Cross Country decided he wanted to teach
in Thailand for a year.  So all of our XC buddies got together and gave
him a little going away party at Dave and Busters in Utica.  It was a
world of fun that night.  Just a standard night on the town.  But I am
sure he appreciated the great time too.



He ended up going out there and will never come back for he fell in
love with a local beauty out there and they are now married in
Thailand.  Enjoy the weather buddy!

I used to be a "Shirley Temple" and "Annie" impersonator at a place called "MR. F's when I was 8 years old.

"MR. F's" was a fancy restaurant that had a stage in their Main Dining room. People would pay an egregious amount of money to eat dinner and watch their favorite "celebrities"perform. Some of the impersonators included, Kenny Rogers, Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond, and Diana Ross. They always brought me up near the finale and I wouldn't get done until around 10 o'clock at night... which wasn't good for a kid my age, especially on a school night.

Anyway, I got a paycheck every week, but I have no idea how much I made. I think it was something like $500 a week, which is pretty darn good.

The guy who owned the restaurant (who happened to be the Kenny Rogers impersonator) was going through a divorce and since his wife owned half of the restaurant. She decided to close it down.

One time Kevin and I were staying the night at my Grandma Dot's house in Florida. Kevin and I slept in her bed and she slept in the middle. At one point in the night one of us wet the bed. Grandma turned the other way and then the other one of us peed on her! I don't know the exact details of what happened but it is just a funny story that has stood the test of time.

I used to work as a waitress at Chili's, and a lot of interesting things would happen on my shifts....

This one particular day a young couple sat in my section. They were very nice, and I noticed that the girl seemed to be in a kind of "giggly" mood.

I took their order. And when I came back to the table to give them their drinks, the girl was gone. She had left to go to the bathroom.

The guy said, "Excuse me, I don't usually do this, but are you seeing anybody??"

I couldn't believe it, I was thinking... What a jerk. His girlfriend goes to the bathroom and now he's hitting on me...

I said, " Um, yes, I'm married."

He continued.... "OK, I was just wondering because my friend thinks you're really cute."

I can't remember who was in the car. Becca was driving and I think that the Brat Patrol or part of it was in the car. We were on our way to my house for a Taylor holiday gathering. We were driving north on Dixie and somebody cut us off or Becca cut someone off or something. I just remember that the guy was driving weird and that he got in front of us. I can't remember what car Becca was driving - I think it was a purple Blazer if that makes sense.

Anyway, we turned right on Sashabaw and when we got to Walton, the guy stopped suddenly and Becca kind of bumped the guys bumper. What resulted was the funny part.

The driver got out of his car and started complaining. At some point he laid on the ground and said his neck or back hurt or something. Finally an ambulance showed up and they said that he appeared fine but that they could transport him if he was willing to foot the bill. Apparently he felt fine after that.
