There was an old lady who lived next door to my friend Lynn.  She was known as the neighborhood witch, and there were rumors circulating that she had killed a kid for going into her backyard.  She was REALLY old too... 

Anyway...   me and 3 other girls decided to go up to her house, knock on her door and run away.... 

My friend, Kristen, knocked so hard that she broke the glass door!  We freaked out and ran to my house.  About an hour later, Lynn's mother called and said that we were all in BIG trouble.  Apparently, the old lady was sitting in her living room.  She watched the whole thing through her window.

    

I had a HUGE crush on a boy named Patrick Shephard.  He had blonde hair, blue eyes and the cutest freckled face.  I used to chase him around the playground everyday.

One day, he said. "I know you like me.  If you want to kiss me, meet me in the teacher's lounge after school." 

Well, I met him in the teacher's lounge and we kissed.  It was just a peck and it was very awkard.  Neither of us said a word, and after we kissed, we went on our way.

I don't remember whether or not I continued to chase him around the playground.  Maybe I realized that it wasn't worth it afterall... ha!

I was a big nerd in junior high school, and I desperately wanted to "fit in".

In an attempt to make friends with the cool kids, I decided to tell everyone that I was going to be on Star Search.

It worked for a while...  But the lie started to spread like wild fire.  Even the principal knew about "Star Search".  One day he saw me in the hallway and congratulated me for getting on the show.  I knew that I would, eventually, be found out.

One day, one of my "new" friends came to the house.  She was talking to my brother.  She said, "Aren't you proud of your sister for making it on Star Search?"  My brother was confused... He said, "What are you talking about?  Beth's not going to be on Star Search."

I pleaded with her.  "Please don't tell anyone."  She promised that she wouldn't say anything, but I have a feeling she told some people.

Derek Bannasch and I used to do student announcements over the PA in the morning.  We were very eccentric and dramatic with our announcements.  We aspired to achieve the fame of last year's announcing team of Jim Territo and Brandon Williams.

Once, at the closing of the announcements, they signed off by saying "These announcements have been brought to you by Rudy's Meat Market: nobody beats our meat".  Unfortunately for them, they were no longer allowed to give the announcements.

So one morning we closed our announcements by saying "These announcements have been brought to you by Rudy's Meat Market" and that was it.  When I turned around I saw that one of the staff was frowning and they scolded us.

Just to prove that I am the dorkiest user on the site, I have scanned official documents to back up my story ;)

This one time, my brother and Scott V and I all went up to Sam's party store to have someone else buy us beer.

It was mostly Scott and Dans idea and I was just along for the ride.

We found some dude that was willing to buy for us and we headed back to the waterford house to drink it.

This was my first encounter with beer and my conception of alcohol was that it was always good when you mix it with kool aid.

I think I learned that through some of the derelicts that we used to hang out with.

Anyway, I knew it might taste funny, but I still thought it might be a decent combination.

As it turns out I was wrong and the beer kool aid was a complete disaster.

It wasnt until later up until my Junior year in High School (partying with Alpha Chi Rhoe) that I drank another beer again.

Yummy! EVERYONE HAS TO SEE BEER FEST. WHAT A GREAT MOVIE!
