newsie682 and I went with a bunch of friends out to a cottage in Grand Bend Ontario some of her sorority friends (including Kelly) rented out. I think we went out on a Friday or something and came back on Sunday. We only stayed over a couple of nights, but we had so much fun out there.



The drive was super easy from the Detroit area and we found it easily. That night we all got drunk and chilled out. The next day we hit up the beach, but before that, we stopped by the liquor store and it started raining like hell out. I ended up getting a wine bottle cap too for 2 dollars. I think newsie682 bought it for me.



The beach was really nice. We played a lot of football in the water with the guys that were there and I went on a nice walk with newsie682 out to the pier. I dont remember much more of that time at the beach, mostly just relaxing and drinking. But what I do remember is my run that I did before dinner that night. I woke up butt early today, because I have to... its MY LAST DAY! Plus I assumed that the pope would come out really early to come and hang out with me. When I woke up, I found out about daylight savings time and it was even better because I essentially gained that hour of sleep. I went on the net and had breakfast and found out that he would bless me at 10:30. Yes he only pays attention to me, because we are best friends.

Since I had all of that time, I decided to just wait for my Canadian friends (Lucy and Byron) to wake up. They are such an awesome couple. They have been married for over 5 years every single conversation we have is totally great. We go out to eat at really decent restaurants and really live it up. I am so glad I met them and we had such a great time while we were here. My last day in Europe and my trip for that matter... would of been the same without them. Except when they ate the intestines.

This one time I did a demo of an online Karaoke Machine that I developed for a competition. The demo was for my Cousin Beth and one of the most beautiful songs that she sings. The song is called "Here With You" (WATCH HER VIDEO).

I used one of her songs off of her unbelievable debut CD which is basically the most amazing piece of artwork in the entire world!. I demoed this web application that would sync up lyrics with any MP3 and would display the lyrics following what the actual singer was singing.

I demoed it in front of all of my Aunts and Uncles. I thought something great would come of it and I even won 1000 dollars in a technology competition.

But memorycrawler is my most innovative piece of work to date.

An almost terrible (but turned out terrifying) day trip

2004-10-16 | Kutna Hora, Czech Republic So.. I decided I wanted to take a day trip to Kutna Hora because I have had a lot of people tell me its cool. After some rude interactions with the unfriendly and unhelpful staff of the train stations, I was on my way. When I got there I had no information whatsoever and I was forced to suck info off the tourists that were there. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love Karaoke. And it all started with this....


My senior year at Oakland, everyone in my full ride scholarship program
needed to compete with each other by developing some kind of new
technology or business idea. The competition was called the Innovative
Competition and I worked with one of the smartest people I knew in
college ( Andy Baker). It had a 1st prize of 1000 dollars and was
judged by faculty, alumni and people from corporations.


I had been thinking about this project for more than a year before I
came up with the final idea. I crossed out a proof of concept that
would send emails via voice phone calls as well as crossed out some
