I went trick or treating with my dad, my brother and my cousins one year in my old neighborhood in Birdland.  After receiving candy from each person, we would thank them.
    dan10878, however would always say "Thank Lou".  He had a lisp or something at the time.
    Eventually, one of had to ask, "Who's Lou?"

Speaking of Halloween, When Kevin was still in diapers, we went over to his Grandma Dot's house and she gave him and Noel her Trick or Treat bags, with a full pack of doublemint gum in it. Kevin proceeded to chew and swallow the whole pack. The next day when I changed his diaper, it smelled like doublemint gum. Double your pleasure, double your fun, with doublemint, doublemint, doublemint gum!

On the day I had planned to ask Susan to marry me, I took her up from our friend Cynthia's cabin up to Mackinac island because it was only a few hours away from there and we wouldnt have to do any crazy driving to get there. We arrived at the island and she was super excited because this was her one vacation of the summer and it was just for a short amount of time.

We got to the island and the first thing we did was rent some bikes. She probably had wished that I had gotten the two seater so I could do all of the work. We began our bike ride going northwest on the island and about 10 minutes into it we saw my friend Eugene from work ride passed us. His girlfriend Allyssa yelled at me and they then biked toward us. I was very surprised that he took his girlfriend up there too. I was also worried that he was going to say something about us getting engaged because a few days earlier word had gotten out that I had purchased some bling bling.

One of the coolest and weirdest professors I had while attending Oakland was Prof. Mathieson. I took a database class with him as well as I got my first insight into PHP by taking an advanced web design class.

His favorite word in the whole world was DUDE.

One class I remember he picked up someones cell phone that rang and started talking to some random person.

Another time around this time of the year in 2001 or 2002, he had a controversial session where he was trying to explain that terrorists are heroes. (From some peoples perspective.)

He loves Zena the warrior princess and he also does lots of research on psychology.

We had a lot of fun classes together building applications for hippo events (a text based application to buy tickets), two up (a australian gambling game built in javascript) and much more. I miss oakland.

Ummm...for those who know Dave- he's just a tad on the competitive side. During this time our relationship had a lot of funny twists and turns. So you would think he would like to get on my good side...no deal. Girls don't always get into video games and I'm no exception, but I tried to play this damn game with him and he would always kick my ass. I tried so hard to stay alive for 30 seconds but that wasn't allowed. I remember being so pissed...but at the same time I kept trying to play and to get better...but he would never let me. I never won. My ass was always grass. No wonder I married someone who doesn't play video games. You suck David Keith.
