Most kids have a favorite blanket, but mine lasted at least 10 years.And of course, the blanket had my favorite video game character of all time.My mom and Dad got it for me for me for Christmas one year.  They alsogot my brother an ALF blanket of the same design.  Although he didntget all the moneys worth out of it like I did. I used to come down the stairs pretty much every day and had breakfast with it wrapped around me like I am a mummy. It also was my cat Billys  favorite spot to purr at. That blanket rules and recently I found it downstairs and took some pics of what I looked like as a kid with it wrapped around me.

One time I was underneath our coffee table taunting my cat Billy with a hot dog. The weird thing about the hot dog was that it wasnt cooked. I used to eat cold hot dogs and can still taste them when I think about it. So Billy got fed up with me and started attacking me. He was a very strong cat and I was very scared when he was thrashing me and biting me. On another occasion, he randomly went into attack mode late at night and I was scared too.

For my 8th birthday my mom caved in after all the bugging and had a small birthday party for Dan and I. Our birthdays are relatively close to each other, so we combined the party, half Dan's friends and half of my friends.

To start we had to purchase supplies. We went to toys r us and got all the fun little plates and whatnot. We also had to get food and cake as well.

From the looks of it, it looks like we invited Nick Caputo, Noel and Kevin Stalker, Scott Vogt, Jason, Chris Smith, and Blake Peters. We had a lot of fun that day. I remember playing foose ball downstairs and playing video games. But not a whole lot more. Mostly just being a kid goofing off.

But theres one thing I remember of this most was that my mom was not happy about spending 50 dollars on all this stuff. Speaking of random memories (lellel)... heres one...

Back at the hendricks house, my brother Dan and I used to have these blue metal shades on our window.

These were of super poor quality and I distinctively remember the shattering noise you would make when you would close them.

As well as the noise made when the wind would hit them.  Many times we would be goofing off and would run into them, thus bending the crap out of them.  They probably lasted me a good 10 years or so.  Just looking through old photos helped me remember them.

On my window sill I used to keep various banks and cars.  I also put my pinewood derby car on there too.  Pinewood derby is an event that boyscouts and cubscouts do to make their own cars and race them down a ramp.

Other things on my window sill were these dead sea animals that my grandma gave me.  One was a shark, one was a starfish and the other was an octopus.  They were preserved in this blue . . . Read More..

One time Bill and I just were getting drunk at my old house in Waterford and he decides he wanted to "sleep/drunk walk" into the bathroom and just pass out on the floor in there.

Only to find my dad getting ready in the morning.  I felt embarrassed for him, but he is the funny dude that walsed in there.
