I remember selling different things for like 50 cents to a dollar in elementary school.

Two types of things that I can remember selling on the streets were bags of sugar.  But this was just just any kind of sugar.  It was laced with all kinds of kool-aid.  I guess you can call me the drug dealers at Burt or something.  I didnt sell much of it.  Mostly just ate it all by myself.

I also remember making guns out of construction paper and selling them to a few kids here and there.  They would be intertwined with rubber bands and would actually shoot stuff out.  I know for a fact I sold one of them for 2 dollars to bobby wright.  He pooped his pants in 5th grade and I had to sit next to him in the choir.  Good times, good times.

I remember that we had a teacher that we used to make fun of. She was our Home Economics teacher. She was overweight and short and had large breasts. We called her "Torpedo T---". You can guess what we called her.

Me and my friend Chris put a character in our book called "Torpedo T---".

I feel really bad about it though because it was cruel and she didn't do anything to deserve it.

I also went to the Rifle River on some of these adventures! One of my fondest memories of these adventues was playing Zombie Tag. I'm not sure who made-up the game or how it came to exist, but it IS AWESOME. One of the best versions of tag...in my opinion. It goes like this, on person is the "Zombie" and they must tag the other players. But, the person that is IT, or that is the "Zombie" cannot run. Of course everyone else can run from the Zombie.
Anytime that a person is tagged by the "Zombie" is now also IT and a Zombie. Now, this means there are 2 people that are IT. These two "Zombies" can now work as a team to tag/touch the remaining people that can run and are not it. The number of Zombies continues to grow as more people are tagged, until there is but 1 person remaining that is "Alive" or not "Zombified"/IT. I can't remember how the next person that is IT at the beginning of the game is decided, but I think the person that was tagged first is now the lone "Zombie"...if . . . Read More..

This 4th of July was probably my favorite. I went over to Tyler's house to hang out and play video games. About 30 minutes of playing games, my other friend, Mike, shows up and I challenge him to Soul Calibur 3. I beat both of them at it for awhile.

When it got darker, we decided to go use some fire worker that Tyler had. We also decided to try and destroy a crash test dummy toy with the lame fire works we had.

After grabbing the toy, fire works, and some matches, the fun really started. First we placed the toy on one of the fire works that just shoots abunch of sparks out. This pretty much melted its legs off. This was not enough for us though. We laid the toy on the ground and aimed three at it and set them all off. While they were shooting off, Mike decided to jump over them. After watching this, Tyler went to do it too, but during his jump they started going off like fire crackers and scared him alot.

Once the sparking fire works were finished we went to see what . . . Read More..

From (Growing up Through Elementary School)
Original Memory Interview Question

What did you like to do while growing up? What were your hobbies?

His Response:

I really liked dragging my blanket around. I enjoyed the muppets. I had a massive Hot Wheels collection. I liked it when my dad would get a 2 x 4 or a PVC pipe as a ramp for the cars. It's funny that I was really into cars and I ended up being an automotive engineer in the Motor City. I enjoyed Dr. Suess. Christmas was my favorite holiday and I still love it to this day and get teary eyed when I first play Christmas music every year. I grew into my name (Noel). I liked to tell stories verbally, through pictures or words. As soon as video games were in my house I latched on to them and haven't let go since, although I do spend a considerable less amount of time on them.
