We had a very busy winter in 2006 because Susan and I planned things to do every weekend. One fun thing we did was take a trip with Cynthia and Susan down to Maryland to meet up with some friends to go skiing. Nothing too interesting happened on the drive there. But toward the end I was freaked out by Susan's driving because there were many winding dirt roads and she was driving with a lead foot. I commented a whole bunch about how I was fearing my life! I think I like being in control in those types of situations.

Anyway, we got to this beautiful mansion tucked away in this really nice neighborhood. Most of the people there were from Maryland and we all just played games and drank the whole night. One game was beer pong which I didnt participate, but we think that either that game (drinking out of random cups) or the hot tub and skiing attributed to Susan getting sick after the trip. That night was pretty crazy. One crazy thing that happened while everyone was . . . Read More..

Dave Renne wanted me go to a Bush concert in Toronto with himself and Dave Klingon. Dave and I were XC teammated at OU at the time and I believe that it was the summer before my 4th year of college.

So on one Saturday morning in May the 3 of us crammed into Dave's tinny Susuki and drove to Toronto. Canada is such a weird place. It is just like the US, except with a Canadian accent and Kilometers. I am pretty sheltered and haven't been on too many trips anywhere. So I was just amazed by the city and everything else in Toronto. After checking into the hotel in Downtown we got something to eat and I even bought a cool shirt for $3. We left for the concert shortly after. It was at the Molsen Ampatheater. Mapquest directed us to take a ferry to an island just out of downtown. None of this made any sense. There was no crowd waiting to get over to the island. Some idoit working at the ferry dock told us that the Molsen Ampatheater is like 30 mile out of downtown. We didn't end up going to the concert but later found out. That the venue wasn't on an island or 30 miles away, it was in downtown, right around the corner.

So we said "Fuck the concert, lets live it up in Toronto." We went to the tallest free standing structure in the world, the CN Tower. Then we picked up some alcohol and did some preparting in the hotel. We took the subway to the club district. We just bar hopped all night, but 75% of the places we went to wouldn't let us in wearing running shoes. We finally found a cool place and stayed there for a while. By this point in the night, I was fucking waisted. On the way to the bathroom, one of the bouncers took me aside and told me that I was walking a little funny and I needed to stop drinking or else I would get kicked out. I told him I am done drinking and meant it at the time. So about 10 minutes later I was so drunk that I totally forgot about what the bouncer told me and bought a beer. As soon as I paid for it, I noticed 2 large men standing on either side of me. At this point, I knew the jig was up and did the only thing I could think to do. I grabbed the beer and started chugged it as much of it as possible until they grapped it from my hand and litterally dragged me out of the back door of the club. I asked on the way out if I could at least let my friends know that I had been kicked out..... their answer was no. This was before everyone had a cell phone, so there was a problem. I waited outside the club for a while, but didn't see them.

So here I am out on the streets of Toronto all alone probably around 2:00 or 3:00 am, don't really know how to get back to the hotel, the subway is closed, don't have a key to the hotel even if I find it, hungry, and cold. There are all kinds of bums sleeping on the side walk and I am pretty scared. Somehow in my drunken haze, I am able to wonder back to my hotel after walking around for a few hours. I just try to fall asleep in the hallway outside the door of my hotel. So a few hours later Dave and Klingon show up and find Billy curled up in the featal position passed out and crying.

So we went to bed and Klingon and I woke up with the worst hangovers in the world. Dave however woke up feeling like a million $. I just wanted to stay in bed all day. Instead, I had to sit in a car for a 5 hours as Dave drove us back to Detroit.

It wasn't what I expected when I set out on this trip, but it was a fun weekend that I will never forget.

The Beast. This is one of many times I almost lost my beast of a car. For those who never seen my car let me describe it for you. It was a 1984 Buick LeSabre. Literally a box on wheel. Fit 3 people in the front and 4 or 5 people in the back. Comfortably. And I?m sure like 5 bodies in the trunk. ? not that I tried or anything?.hehehe..Well In the winter it became my 1000 lbs sled as I attempted to stay on the road.
Well on this particular day we wanted to go sledding so we drove down to the lake were the best hill in the area was. Of course, rather then park a safe distance away I parked right on the hill and slid down into a snow bank. Being the bright guy that I was, I figure if I floored it I could get out. Well it turns out when you floor a rear wheel drive car on ice it just fish tails all over the place. This not only took me out of the snow bank, but brought me inches from the edge of a cliff which was just over the lake. I thought I was done for. My . . . Read More..

We all know that David likes to babysit the younger cousins. When Sean and I were kids he babysat us too.
One time while watching us David thought that it would be really funny to get me and Sean to pick up the phone and call 911. Being the impressionable little kids that looked up to our older cousins that we were Sean and I took his advice and dialed 911 then hung up.
Well soon after that there was a cop at our door wondering where the emergency was.

Sheila really loved you that day David.

I?m going to leave out all the names in this one but it kind of funny. Something only 4 teenagers that are bored would do. Well to set the mood it was winter in Michigan. About 6 inches or more snow on the ground and the roads were covered in ice. A few of us wanted to get together and have a fest. A fest is a video game get together were we just played 4 player battle games for hours on end after school. Well one friend, who will remain nameless, wanted to stay home and make a snowman. Well we weren?t going to have any of that. So later that day we went over to his house and beat down his snowman with a bat.
The next day we went to school and bragged about how we demolished his snowman. He said that he built it back up already. This just pissed us off. So after school we rushed over to his house only to see his snowman standing there but it was turned to ice. He actually covered it with water. And it froze.
Rather than destroy it again we needed to really send him a . . . Read More..
