From (Middle School Confusion)
Original Memory Interview Question

Did your attitudes toward anything change from when in elementary school?

Her Response:

I was confused about who I was which made me a little more on the shy side. But then again I was more outgoing then ever in other situations. I didn't know how to act or how to dress b/c I was constantly worrying about what other people thought of me. Not anymore!

This day was the day that marked my sadness for life. I was having a semi decent work day when around 10pm my daddy called me and told me I needed to go to the hospital. My mom had been there for a month at that point so I figured it had something to do with her. I made my dad tell me what was going on while I was driving. He told me that the doctors were at their ends and recommended mom into hospice. It didn't make sense to me. I just couldn't believe what he was telling me. I pulled off the road and cried for awhile. This was the last day my mom actually talked to me. I love her so much and it still hurts and I imagine it probably always will hurt to think about it. 3 Days after being in Hospice my mom passed away. I was holding her hand the whole time with our family sitting all around her. She looked absolutely beautiful. She could still squeeze my hand to communicate which was such a blessing. I feel for . . . Read More..

This Christmas, I got a Rubik's cube in my stocking, this was the start of my Rubik's Madness.
Since then, I have learned to solve the Rubik's cube, in about 1 and a half minutes. Every once-in-a-while I'll finish it in a good 1 minute and 15 seconds.

I have brought my Rubik's cube to school, only to end up getting the whole class around me, just to see me solve it, it was amazing. Even the teacher was watching, which was pretty sweet.

So, ever since Christmas, I have had a new fad of playing around with the Rubik's cube, and it has yet to stop amusing me. I feel that I will never get bored of playing around with the Rubik's cube. And I hope to get more intense Rubik's creations, such as, Rubik's Revenge, and the Professor Cube, and even Square One. I also want to get Rubik's magic.

well ill start out by saying i really needed a car for the winter. ive leached off my dad for a few summers by using his truck because, well, he doesnt even drive it 8months out of the year. anyways, it was time to find a winter beater for the winter of 2005/2006. i searched high and low for the perfect beater, and let me tell you, i found just that.

bought from some weirdo dude in dearborn, this perfect running 94 teal escort was in for a challenge, me. it was actually a really nice looking car when i had bought it. no body damage, granted the interior was gross, but after some cleaning and TLC the thing was worth driving for what i paid for it - a whopping 650. talked the dude down from 800 or 900, i forget. anyways here are some stories about the teal beater or what some of my friends would call, the turtle.

the first initial damages were . . . Read More..
